Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of WA.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Dedication to promoting the well-being and development of students with diverse abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to special education and occupational therapy.
Location: Bellingham, WA
Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $30-$35, hourly, dependent on experience

Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). As a school-based COTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and assist the district OT.
- Develop and implement effective occupational therapy interventions to enhance students' participation in academic and extracurricular activities.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment for students with diverse needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant records.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to the development and review of students' educational plans.
