Travel Certified Surgical Tech - Wilmington, North Carolina

Are you an experienced Certified Surgical Tech looking for an exciting travel opportunity in a dynamic healthcare setting? We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Wilmington, North Carolina. As a Certified Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in assisting surgeons and ensuring the smooth operation of the operating room.

Position: Travel Certified Surgical Tech Location: Wilmington, North Carolina Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts Duration: 13 weeks

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies
• Maintain a sterile and aseptic environment in the operating room
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide support as required
• Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
• Adhere to established protocols, procedures, and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Certified Surgical Tech
• Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures, including Inpatient, Trauma, Scrub, Aseptic Technique, ENT, General, Ortho, Ortho/Spine, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, Gyn, and Neuro/Spine
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
