Chemo Pharmacy Technician Inpatient Dallas, Texas

Soliant has been engaged by an inpatient pharmacy that is in need of a chemo pharmacy technician. The facility is looking for someone with chemo and inpatient experience and a valid TX license. Responsibilities:

• Preparation of IV medications for patients
• Receiving and verifying the prescriptions
• Pricing and filling of prescriptions
• Obtaining the pharmacist’s approval
• Completing patient paperwork related to the filling of a prescription
• Assisting with insurance claims processing (usually a pharmacist will handle this, but an assistant’s help will be needed – the entire process is done online)

Requirements 

• PTCB or ExCPT
• Epic experience noted on resume and in SPIN notes 
• Chemo experience REQUIRED 
• TX Pharm Tech license
