Chemo Registered Nurse Travel Assignment near Charleston SC

We are currently seeking a Chemo Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Chemo Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for administering chemotherapy treatments and providing direct patient care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have oncology and ambulatory care experience, as well as a current BLS certification.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients according to established protocols
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and intervene as needed
• Educate patients and families on chemotherapy side effects and self-care measures
• Assess and document patient response to treatments and communicate with healthcare team
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of employment
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with oncology and ambulatory care experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work 8a-430p, Monday through Friday, with no holidays or weekends

Shift Information: This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule of 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) from Monday to Friday. There are no holidays or weekends required for this position.
