Job Summary: Clinical Pharmacy Manager
As the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the daily provision of clinical pharmacy services at our multiple hospital pharmacy sites. Your primary focus will be on implementing best practices in pharmaceutical care, education, and cost-effective drug therapy. In this role, you will provide specialized pharmaceutical services to enhance drug use and therapeutic outcomes. Additionally, you will maintain liaison relationships with medical and nursing staffs, manage the medication use evaluation program, and lead various clinical interventions. This position may also involve conducting or participating in clinical research studies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct the provision of clinical pharmacy services at multiple hospital pharmacy sites.
- Implement best practices related to pharmaceutical care, education, and cost-effective drug therapy.
- Provide specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug use and therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain liaison relationships with medical and nursing staffs.
- Manage the medication use evaluation program, formulary maintenance, in-service programs, and clinical interventions.
- Conduct or participate in clinical research, including IND studies.
- Lead and guide Clinical Pharmacists, Advanced Practice Pharmacists, and Pharmacy Residents in their medication management, education, and cost savings initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree or PGY1 and/or PGY2 Pharmacy Residency completion preferred.
- Minimum of three to five years of progressive hospital clinical pharmacy experience required.
- Board Certification in pharmacy practice (e.g., Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, BCPS) required or obtain within 2 years of hire.
- Registration and Licensure in accordance with the requirements of the NJ Board of Pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts related to clinical pharmacy.
- Experience managing employees and working collaboratively with peer-level managers and department heads.
- At least 3-5 years in an elevated clinical supervisor/manager role is required.
