The surrounding areas of Southglenn, CO are in search of an SLP for the upcoming school year. Below are details concerning the position and its expectations therein:
- 37.5 hours a week
- Full School year
- Two positions open!
- Both full-time full school year
- One position is 4 days a week at Runyon Elementary school serving roughly 30 students.
- The other is a full 5 days a week is at Euclid Middle School serving roughly 30-35 students
Expectations:
Speech-language pathologist will be working with students who have problems with speech and language, including related cognitive or social communication problems. Problems may range from being unable to speak at all, to having difficulties with rhythm and fluency problems, such as stuttering.
Goals:
You will be expected to foster and facilitate means of communication, including oral speech production, sign language and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC). The main objective is to provide a means for individuals to communicate their wants, needs, thoughts, concerns, or opinions.
