Allow Soliant to introduce you to an opportunity with an esteemed cancer hospital as a Travel Chemo/Oncology Pharmacist. You'll have the unique opportunity to provide specialized pharmaceutical care to patients across different locations.
Role and Responsibilities:
As an Oncology Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in the treatment and support of cancer patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Dispensing and compounding chemotherapy medications in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Collaborating with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop tailored treatment plans for patients.
• Conducting medication reviews, counseling patients on the proper administration of medications, and addressing their concerns.
• Monitoring patients' responses to treatments and adjusting medications as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Participating in clinical trials and research projects to contribute to the advancement of oncology care.
• Providing education and training to pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in Louisiana
• IV Compounding Experience
• Strong understanding of chemotherapy medications, drug interactions, and adverse effects.
