Contract Opportunity – IV / Infusion Pharmacy Technician – Denver, CO
Soliant has an opportunity for the right Infusion Specialty Pharmacy Technician in Colorado Springs you will play a critical role in our patient-centered approach to healthcare. You will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications for infusion therapy, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to their patients. - Medication Preparation: Prepare and compound medications required for infusion therapy with precision and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Patient Interaction: Interact with patients and healthcare providers to provide education and support related to medication administration, side effects, and treatment plans.
- Medication Dispensing: Accurately dispense medications and supplies to patients and ensure proper documentation.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring that necessary medications and supplies are readily available.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in quality control and quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of patient safety and care.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with all applicable laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations, including HIPAA and state pharmacy board requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the healthcare team, including pharmacists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure seamless patient care.
- CO tech license plus PTCB (required)
- 1 year of strong IV experience and using pinnacle pump
