Position Overview:
As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations and laws.
  • Managing and supervising pharmacy staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Providing excellent customer service and medication counseling to patients.
  • Reviewing and verifying prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions.
  • Dispensing medications in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers and other team members to optimize patient care.
  • Overseeing inventory management, ordering, and maintaining adequate stock levels.
  • Participating in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives.
  • Resolving any medication-related issues or customer concerns.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Texas State Pharmacist License in good standing
  • Experience working in a Psychiatric hospital preferred
