Location: Palo Alto, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Dayshift

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs nonsterile compounding of hazardous and non-hazardous drugs
  • Answers telephones and responds to requests at window promptly and courteously
  • Submits billing information to third-party payor for claim adjudication
  • Orders supplies and checks for shortages, rotates stock, and removes expired medications
  • Accurately prepares medications for pharmacist to verify
  • Checks insurance eligibility to patients and couriers following proper procedures
  • Runs basic pharmacy operation reports
  • May perform basic registration duties
  • Utilizes pharmacy resources for accurate documentation of assigned tasks
  • Assists with projects as assigned

Ideal Candidate:

  • Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the California Board of Pharmacy
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be fully COVID-19 Vaccinated
