Contract Travel CT Tech Job in The Constitution State

The radiology manager at this Connecticut hospital has guaranteed 40 hours per week on this 13 week contract, with an exact schedule to be agreed upon via phone interview
 

Job Summary: We are seeking a well-qualified CT Tech to join our team for a travel job opportunity in Waterbury, Connecticut. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong background in computerized tomography (CT) imaging. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a wide range of imaging procedures primarily in the CT department.

Responsibilities: • Perform CT scans using specialized equipment • Review patient history and provide thorough scans for accurate diagnosis • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other physicians • Ensure comfort and emotional support for patients during their imaging exams • Operate and maintain imaging equipment • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging area • Keep patient information confidential • Document and maintain accurate patient records • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements: • Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) • Minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical setting • Previous experience in CT imaging is required • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Must be able to work flexible hours and shifts
