Cragsmoor NY Social Worker Needed - Housing Assistance, Mileage Reimbursement

One of our New York partner districts is seeking a Social Worker for a school near Cragsmoor. This is a full time position beginning at the start of the new school year (August 2023). There is a travel stipend available for this position and candidates that live more than 50 miles from the district will also be eligible for tax-free housing assistance.
Requirements:

• Social work license (LMSW or LCSW)
• Endorsement to work as a School Social Worker in New York
• School Social Work experience OR experience providing social/behavioral services for children under 17 years of age

Job Details:

• Full time
• On-site
• 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Middle School caseload

Responsibilities:
The chosen candidate would be part of a multidisciplinary clinical team composed of other behavioral, social, and clinical professionals. With the help of the team, the would be responsible for the following:

• Safety Plans, 504s, IEPs
• Intake and re-engagement meetings
• Small group and individual counseling
