Crystal Lake, IL: School Social Worker

Soliant has partnered with a school near Crystal Lake, IL, and is seeking a contract School Social Worker for the remainder of the school year.

Assignment details:

• Full-time applicants preferred
• Caseload information to come
• Start: within 2-3 weeks of job offer at the latest
• End: end of school year--renewals for the next school year will be discussed as we approach the end of the school year 

Requirements:

• Applicants must hold a Social Worker Professional Educators License (PEL), issued by the Illinois State Board of Education
  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Internship experience in a school setting

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting students who require social worker services in their IEPs
• Crisis intervention
• Support students with trauma in their social histories
• Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments
• Developing Behavior Intervention Plans
