Dayton, OH: Special Education Teacher (Resource)

Calling on certified Special Education teachers in Dayton, OH: Soliant is working with a charter school and is seeking a full-time Special Education teacher to provide resource instruction to K-8 students. 

The applicant will provide push-in and pull-out instruction. Additional information on student ages will be shared in a direct interview with administrators.

Requirements:

• Special Education teacher certificate from Ohio Department of Education
• 1+ years of experience with resource teaching preferred

Pay and benefits:

• Hourly, W2 pay of $45 to $50 per hour

Description of duties:

• Develop social and academic programs according to IEPs
• Plan lessons in accordance with IEP goals
• Monitor student progress with a blend of informal observations and scored assessments
• Present positive role model for students
• Refer to community resources  aid students in dealing with emotional/physical needs
• Manage student behavior and administer discipline according to IEPs
• Plan and supervise activities for teacher aide(s) and/or volunteer(s)
• Ensure that instructional program is compliant with campus, district, state, and federal policies and regulations.
• Maintain timely and accurate reports, records, and documents.
