Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive social work services to students, families, and staff.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to address students' social and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive school environment.
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and best practices in school social work.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- State licensure as a School Social Worker in Michigan.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
Caseload Details:
Caseload details will be based on whether you choose the on-site or fully remote option. We offer flexibility to accommodate your preferences.
Salary:
