Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive social work services to students, families, and staff.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to address students' social and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive school environment.
  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and best practices in school social work.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure as a School Social Worker in Michigan.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.

Caseload Details:

Caseload details will be based on whether you choose the on-site or fully remote option. We offer flexibility to accommodate your preferences.

Salary:

We offer a competitive hourly rate commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
