DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) Teacher Opening in Pittsfield, MA

We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year in Pittsfield, MA. This is a full-time position serving students in grades K-12. We will consider candidates with a preference for a specific grade level.

Requirements:

• Valid teaching license in Deaf Education or Special Education with a Deaf Education endorsement
• Will consider candidates licensed outside of Massachusetts if they are eligible to apply for reciprocity
• Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Strong knowledge of deaf education methodologies, communication systems, and assistive technologies
