We are partnering with a school district to find a Paraprofessional in Pittsfield, MA for a direct hire. 

Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

???????Responsibilities:

• Provide support and assistance to students with diverse needs in a classroom setting
• Assist students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and mathematics
• Implement accommodations and modifications as directed by the classroom teacher and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Assist with behavioral management and help students navigate social interactions
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student progress and achievement
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college education preferred)
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
• Willingness to learn and participate in professional development activities
