Direct Hire Pharmacist in Midland, TX

Soliant is engaged with a longstanding facility in the Midland-Odessa area who have a need for a pharmacist. This position offers a competitive pay rate and a set of rotating shifts. Responsibilities:

• Provides pharmacological information by answering requests of healthcare professionals and by monitoring drug therapy and advising on interventions
• Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians’ workflow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections
• Ensures accuracy of entered orders and timely delivery of medications to the respective recipient
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with established hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree required
• TX licensure in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy
• Certification in the area of specialty
