Direct Hire- Staff Pharmacist

A leading retail pharmacy, is seeking a Perm Pharmacist to join their team in Arkansas. The successful candidate will work between our Prescott, AR and Hope, AR sites. This is a direct hire position with the following schedule: Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of all pharmacy transactions to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
• Ensure legal operation of the pharmacy, including meeting inspection and regulatory requirements.
• Submit claims for third-party reimbursement and consult with physicians and nurses on pharmaceutical matters.
• Advise physicians on formulary medications and cost-effective therapies.
• Provide pharmaceutical information to patients and staff.
• Monitor storage, distribution, and use of pharmaceuticals.
• Provide training, assign duties, and contribute to performance evaluations.
• Document and report medication errors to the direct supervisor.
• Maintain close control over all store-level operations.

Ideal Candidate:

• Valid AR pharmacist license.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience.
• Immunization Certification is a plus.
