Are you ready to combine your passion for healthcare with your love for all things Michigan? We have an exciting opportunity for an Echo Tech in the picturesque town of Petoskey. Nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan and surrounded by stunning natural beauty, Petoskey offers a charming community with plenty of recreational activities and a vibrant arts scene.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiogram examinations on patients, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, maintaining a compassionate and friendly demeanor.
• Accurately document and maintain records of procedures, test results, and patient information.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in echocardiography.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent.
• Proficiency in performing 2D, M-mode, Doppler, and color flow echocardiograms.
• Experience with stress echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in documentation.
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Eligibility for licensure in the state of Michigan.
