Soliant Education is seeking an Educational Diagnostican for the 2023-2024 school year.
As a Contracted Educational Diagnostician, you will play a vital role in assessing and identifying students' educational needs and developing appropriate strategies to support their learning. You will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to conduct comprehensive assessments, analyze data, and create individualized educational plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct educational evaluations, including cognitive assessments, academic achievement tests, and behavioral assessments.
  • Analyze assessment results and provide clear and concise reports detailing students' strengths, weaknesses, and recommended interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Monitor student progress, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and provide ongoing support to ensure student success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to inform decision-making processes.
  • Stay updated on current research, best practices, and legislative requirements related to educational assessment and intervention.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid educational diagnostician license or certification in the state of New Mexico.
  • Previous experience as an educational diagnostician or similar role is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of assessment tools, techniques, and intervention strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret assessment results accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within given timelines.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in educational assessment.
