Position: Elementary Art Teacher
Location: Almeda, South Carolina 29944
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Compensation: Competitive hourly & overtime hourly rates

Requirements:

• State of South Carolina Teacher’s License with elementary endorsements
• Bachelor’s degree in education, Art, or a related field
• 2+ Years of experience is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and instruct students on art and art history age-appropriate curriculum
• Create an engaging environment for students through a variety of learning styles, such as art exhibitions, demonstrations, projects, and other activities in the classroom
• Prepare and arrange art materials and equipment in the classroom
• Purchase and manage inventory of art supplies
• Support administration by developing an engaging art program for students
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student performance
• Ensure students behave well and the classroom is kept tidy
