Job Description:
We are actively seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our elementary school in Allentown, PA. The selected candidates will be responsible for working in our Autistic Support classrooms. This is a full-time position with 35 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and concluding on June 7, 2024.
Responsibilities:

Autistic Support: Provide specialized instruction and support to students with autism spectrum disorders.

Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

Differentiated Instruction: Create and adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities.

Behavioral Support: Implement behavior management techniques and strategies to support positive behavior in the classroom.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other special education staff, general education teachers, and related service providers.

Progress Monitoring: Assess and track students' progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching License with Special Education certification.
- Experience or willingness to work with students in Autistic Support settings.
- Commitment to achieving and maintaining PA credentialing requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
