Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist, Arlington Heights IL

Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists who want to help children with Autism find their ways of communicating with the world! Soliant has partnered up with an elementary school near Arlington Heights, IL and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in self-contained classrooms for the remainder of the school year.

Candidates will be exclusively focused on students in the Self-Contained Autism Program, and manage a very small caseload of 18 students. The Special Education department has a mission of providing all-rounded language development support to students in this program.

Requirements:

• Illinois PEL license as an SLP
  • Completion of Illinois subject tests 154 or 232 AND
  • 150 hours (at minimum) of supervised experience in a school setting
• ???????The Illinois State Board of Education also awards SLP licenses by reciprocity and to holders of the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence

The assignment will be full-time, contracted at 32.5 hours per week. Applicants will cover 1 elementary school.
