Classroom Assignment: Autistic Support classrooms

Requirements:

• PA Special Education Teaching License.
• Willingness to commit to PA credentialing.

Position Details:

Soliant Education is seeking two dedicated Elementary Special Education Teachers to join our team in the Coopersburg, Pennsylvania area. These positions are specifically for Autistic Support classrooms, where you will play a vital role in providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with autism. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with autism.
• Creating and adapting instructional materials to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Providing behavioral support and interventions to promote positive student behavior.
• Collaborating with other educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Participating in IEP meetings and working closely with parents and guardians.
