Experienced IV/Inpatient Pharmacy Technician

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Inpatient IV Pharmacy Technician. Eligible candidates must have recent sterile compounding experience, including IV’s. 13-week contract, full-time schedule, immediate start! Job Responsibilities:

• Processing medication orders for final check by pharmacist
• Product ordering and delivering, inventory control
• Communicating with wholesaler and drug companies
• Providing superior customer service
• Prepare and document controlled substance for distribution
• IV compounding following USP <797> standards and following hospital approved policy and procedures
• Working with the hospital’s point of care pharmacy drug automated system
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician in Iowa, required
• Nationally certified by the PTCB Board, required
• Full time availability
• Previous experience as a hospital pharmacy technician is strongly preferred
