Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-Time)

Are you a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a rewarding part-time opportunity in Gage Lake, IL? Look no further! We are currently seeking a dedicated SLP to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments, evaluations, and therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure student success
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with current research, trends, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid Illinois state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
