Experienced Special Education Teacher Needed in New Oxford, PA

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join the New Oxford School District team. This role involves providing full-time support for the upcoming school year. A PA teaching license is required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support tailored to each student's unique learning requirements.
• Collaborate closely with fellow educators, specialists, and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Customize and adapt instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Continuously assess and monitor student progress, making necessary adjustments to teaching strategies.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, ensuring they are informed about student progress and IEP goals.

Qualifications:

• PA teaching license is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's preferred).
• A deep understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
