Soliant has partnered with a school in the area of Farmington, NM to interview Speech-Language Pathologists for the remainder of the school year. Both ASHA-certified Speech Pathologists and Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
Located close to the intersection of four state borders--Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona--this is a part of the southwest distinguished by its austere landscape. Great location for people who love the outdoors!
Additional details of the caseload:
- Start: March 2019
- End: late May 2019 (extensions possible for interested applicants)
- Caseloads to be assigned based on candidate experience
- Full-time and part-time applicants welcome
Day-to-day duties include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language development; diagnose students with speech/language impediments
- Developing Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals in consultation with district SLPs
- Providing speech-language therapy, document student progress, and complete paperwork pertinent to the provision of services, or to Medicaid billing
- Participating in IEP meetings, and communicating speech and language goals to student care-givers
We seek applicants who bring solid clinical knowledge, are well-organized, and are adept communicators.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- New Mexico SLP license
