About Us: We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual (Spanish and English preferred) Full-Time School Psychologist to join our team in Chula Vista, California. Position Overview: As a Full-Time School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of students. You will work with a diverse student population and collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure the well-being of our students.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' strengths and challenges
  • Attend and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to address students' emotional and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to develop and implement strategies for student success
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments and interventions
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology

Requirements:

  • School Psychology credential or license in CA
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to promoting the well-being of students
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
