Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Administer therapeutic interventions as directed by licensed OTs, encompassing tailored occupational therapy services for student requirements.
• Utilize a variety of tools and methods to enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and fellow professionals to provide assistance and education on occupational therapy matters.
• Help monitor student progress, document treatment outcomes, and communicate findings to licensed OTs.
• Stay updated on occupational therapy advancements by engaging in professional development endeavors.
• Take part in team meetings, case conferences, and contribute to the overall success of the school.

Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or a related field.
• Possession of a valid and active state certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Previous experience working as a COTA or in a similar capacity is preferred.
• Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in occupational therapy.
• Ability to work effectively under licensed OT supervision and collaborate seamlessly within a team environment.
