To further our mission, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled School Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to join our team.

Position Overview: As a School Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP), you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of our students. You will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive psychological services within the school district. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive school climate, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' strengths and areas of need.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide counseling and support to students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to promote positive behavior and social-emotional learning.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address the needs of students with disabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in school psychology and contribute to the professional development of staff.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Current Texas licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP).
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
