Full-time Occupational Therapist needed near Rockford, IL

A school district near Rockford, IL is looking for a qualified and passionate Occupational Therapist.  This job administers occupational therapy assessments to determine a student's level of functioning relative to their age and educational placement in such areas as fine/gross motor skill development, sensory-motor integration, self-care, and the activities of daily living. Soliant Health is recruiting strong and experienced candidates for this contract position. 

 In addition to working alongside experts in education, you'd be living near a great city! There are a variety of sites to see in the Forest City, from the Tinker Swiss Cottage to the Anderson Japanese Gardens. You'll find northern Illinois to be rich and lush, just hours from Lake Michigan. Plus, Rockford is the screw and fastener capital of the world!

Job Details:

• K-12 caseload

• Four days per week (30 hours per week)
• 2 schools, one elementary school with life skills classroom, one middle school

• Position lasts from August 2022 to June 2023

Job Requirements:

• In-person position only

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active IL state license
