Occupational Therapist (OT) - Full-Time Position
Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year in Phoenix, AZ. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with students, parents, and educational professionals to enhance students' participation and performance in daily activities and promote their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' functional abilities and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to address students' goals.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student success and integration.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Educate and support teachers and staff on strategies to enhance students' participation in the classroom.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Stay updated with the latest research, best practices, and interventions in the field of occupational therapy.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and workshops.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Arizona.
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
