Occupational Therapist

Location: Wyoming, DE 

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Wyoming, DE. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting the overall well-being and development of our students. This is a full-time position for the upcoming school year, with excellent benefits and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to student care
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare progress reports
• Stay updated on current research and trends in occupational therapy and apply best practices to support student success

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
