Full Time- Occupational Therapist (OT)- Near, Williamsburg, VA

Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at a school near Williamsburg, VA. As a School Occupational Therapist, you will work with students of all ages and abilities to help them overcome physical, emotional, and mental challenges that impact their ability to learn and participate in daily school activities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and limitations
• Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on improving students' functional abilities in the school environment
• Implement therapeutic interventions to address students' physical, emotional, and mental needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for students
• Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Provide education to teachers and parents on strategies to support students' needs in the classroom

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• State licensure as an Occupational Therapist in VA
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards
