Job Description: As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience for our students by providing comprehensive occupational therapy services. You will work closely with students, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote academic success and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
  • Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Nebraska.
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Dedication to promoting the well-being and success of students.
