Caseload/Details:
- Caseload: All SPED caseloads; grades range from PreK – 12+
- Assignment: Candidates will be interviewed and assigned caseload based on experience and location.
- Flexibility: School may switch candidate's worksite on a weekly basis, as needed to support the district’s students.

ParaPro ETS Exam: Completion and passing of the ParaPro ETS Exam before consideration.

Description:

We are seeking dedicated Instructional Aides (PARA) to join our team and provide valuable support to students across a variety of grade levels.
As an Instructional Aide, you will play a vital role in the educational development of our students with special needs. Your responsibilities will include assisting teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), providing one-on-one support to students, and creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the educational goals of students with special needs.
- Provide individualized assistance to students based on their IEPs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
- Adapt instructional materials and activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
Qualifications:
- Completion and passing of the ParaPro ETS Exam.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 48 units of college coursework or an Associate degree.
- Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
