Full-Time Physical Therapist - Jonesboro, Georgia

We are seeking a passionate and experienced School-Based Physical Therapist to join our team in Jonesboro, Georgia for the 2023-2024 school year. As a PT, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential by addressing their unique physical needs within an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students individually or in small groups
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to integrate therapy goals into IEPs
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes
• Stay updated on best practices in school-based physical therapy

Requirements:

• Valid PT license in Georgia
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of child development and therapeutic techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with special education processes and IEPs
