Position: Long-Term Care Pharmacy Technician
Location: New Hyde Park, NY
Duration: Contract to Hire
Schedule:  Variable – 8:00am -8:00pm, Rotating weekends
Pay Rate: $22-$25/hr; Experience Dependent

Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently fulfill daily drug orders while supervised by a pharmacist.
• Aid in the processing of returned drugs and follow proper recycling or disposal procedures.
• Assist in pre-packing frequently requested medications, labeling, and storing them as needed.
• Package materials and products manually.
• Ensure precise and efficient preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Thoroughly verify prescription information, resolving any discrepancies or concerns.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and handle supply orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and offering medication-related guidance.
• Foster effective collaboration and communication with the pharmacy team.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years LTC/Retail Experience (Preferred)
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
• Weekend Flexibility (Required)
