Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a specialized role in Washington County, RI. This position is for the 2024-2025 school year and involves providing essential health support to a female elementary student, specifically focusing on seizure monitoring.

Position Details:

• Role: Monitor and support a female elementary student with seizure needs.
• Schedule:
  • Bus-Riding: 3 hours/day
  • Hours: Arrive at the student's home at 7:30 AM to accompany them on the bus to school.
  • Return: Meet at the school at 1:45 PM and return to the student’s home by 3:09 PM.
• Duration: 2024-2025 school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the student’s health and provide seizure management and support as needed.
• Ensure the student's safety during transportation to and from school.
• Collaborate with school staff and the student’s family to address any health-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and reports.

Qualifications:

• Valid Rhode Island Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in pediatric care, particularly with seizure management, is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
