Full Time School Based SLP Needed in Carlisle, PA

Job Posting: Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) 
Location: Carlisle, Pennsylvania

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our partnered school district in Carlisle, PA. This full-time position is available for the 2023-2024 school year. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' communication and language skills, helping them overcome speech and language disorders, and maximizing their potential.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results.
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding speech and language needs.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
