Full Time School Counselor Opening

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Counselor to join our team near Lewisbury, West Virginia. This full-time position involves providing support to students in grades PreK through 8, helping them develop academic, social, and emotional skills to succeed in school and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to address students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement school counseling programs that support student growth and well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and maintain a positive school environment.
• Assist in creating and monitoring 504 plans and intervention plans for students as needed.
• Advocate for students' needs and serve as a resource for families seeking additional support services.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with ethical and legal requirements in school counseling.

Requirements:

• A Master’s Degree in School Counseling.
• Valid West Virginia certification in School Counseling or eligibility to obtain it.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience working with PreK-8 students is preferred but not required.
