Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a School Nurse for the 2023-2024 school year in Bellevue, NE. The School Nurse will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of students and staff members. This is a full-time position with a wide range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and professional development support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services to students and staff in accordance with school policies and state regulations.
• Administer first aid and emergency care as needed.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions.
• Conduct health assessments and screenings.
• Promote a healthy school environment through health education and prevention programs.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for the school community regarding health-related concerns.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
