We are currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time contract position in Temecula, California. This role will be based in a school setting, and we are actively interviewing candidates who meet all local and state regulatory requirements. Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.

Requirements:

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist licensure in California.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with special education students and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with assessment tools and intervention strategies for speech and language disorders.
  • Knowledge of IEP process and documentation requirements.

Job Duties:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
  3. Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs within the educational setting.
  5. Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  6. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluation results, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
  8. Provide training and support to parents and caregivers on strategies to facilitate communication development at home.
  9. Stay current on research findings, best practices, and trends in the field of speech-language pathology.
  10. Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
