Full-Time School Social Worker Needed Near Glendale, Arizona

Soliant is working with a school district near Glendale, Arizona to fill a School Social Worker position for the 2022-2023 School Year. This position is a full-time position that requires 40 hours of work per week. There is a caseload of 800 students at this campus. To stand out for this position from other applicants, a CSW and bilingual skills are preferred, however, they are not required. It is required that applicants have a Master's degree in Social Work and have a broad knowledge of child development, learning and family systems. Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract 

Hours: 40/week, 5 days a week

2022-2023 School Year 

Qualifications:

• Must have a Master's Degree in Social Work
• Must have a broad knowledge regarding child development, learning, and family systems
• CSW is preferred
• Bilingual skills are preferred 

Duties:

• Identify school and community services to offer support to the educational programs.
• Foster communication between schools, guardians, and community leaders
• Identify educational, behavioral, and mental health services to meet school needs.
• Crisis intervention and consultation
• Assist in the development of Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Plans.
• Provide social work case management for students and families. 
• Duties are not limited to those listed above.
