Job Details:

  • Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Location: South El Monte, CA
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Contract Duration: School Year (with potential extension)
  • Work Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Caseload: PreK-12th grade students
  • Student Disabilities: Mild to moderate, with opportunities to work with various age groups
  • Setting: School-based (Collaborative team with teachers and other therapists)

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active California SLP License (or eligibility for CA licensure)
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
  • Prior school-based experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

State-Specific Requirements:

  • Valid California state license as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Ability to clear a background check and TB test
