Responsibilities: As a School Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the emotional, social, and academic well-being of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing counseling and support to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to create and implement strategies for student success.
• Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans to address individual student needs.
• Advocating for students' rights and needs within the school system.
• Connecting students and families with community resources as needed.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of interventions and progress.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a School Social Worker (or eligibility to obtain licensure in New Mexico).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and their families.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in school social work.
• Commitment to the ethical standards and principles of the social work profession.
