Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Social Worker for the 2023-2024 school year in Saginaw, MI. As a Social Worker, you will be an essential part of our educational community, providing vital support to students and their families. Your role will involve addressing social and emotional barriers to learning and collaborating with educators and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' social and emotional needs.
Develop and implement intervention plans to support students' emotional well-being.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive school environment.
Offer crisis intervention when necessary.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Stay informed about current social work practices and educational policies.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
State licensure as a School Social Worker in Michigan (LLMSW or LMSW).
Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting students' well-being.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of individuals.
