A school district in Hollister, CA, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time position. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students, adapting curriculum and instructional strategies to meet their unique learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications are implemented.
• Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and maintain accurate records to inform instructional planning and decision-making.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.
• Stay current with best practices in special education and actively participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching credential or certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a school setting.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage in a multidisciplinary team approach.
